Apr 12 - 13 - Cynthiana Reenactment Battle comittee would like to announce the annual "Battle of Cynthiana" April 12 and 13th at the Elk's lodge. This reenactment will be a training camp for the KCB with infantry, cavalry and artillery demonstrations throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday. A cavalry competition at 5 pm on Saturday. There will be battles daily at 2 PM. A period dance Saturday evening starting at 8 PM.
There will be period vendors and concessions. Please come join us to relive history.

Apr 19 - Earth Day at the Park (Handy Farm) combines educational, informational booths with fun games, activities, kite-flying and a scavenger hunt. A walk-a-thon at the event will be open to all students, and proceeds will be used to better the community's park. Visitors are encouraged the check out the area soon to become a federally-funded wetland. Come for a day of family fun and celebrate the planet.
