Commissioner Clayton reported that repairs need to be made by the Public Works crew in the intersection of Bridge St/Webster Avenue. He would like to see these repairs made before the paving is done. City Clerk McIlvain commented that if this work could not be accomplished in time for paving this fall, it could be postponed until spring. The appropriation is good for the entire fiscal year. The total estimated amount of this work is $84,000.00. This would leave a projected balance of $91,275.00 to be carried forward to the next fiscal year. Commissioner Conner commented that he felt Public Works could accomplish this work in time for the paving. There were no comments from the public and Mayor Wells declared the hearing closed at 6:30 P.M. |
