The City of Cynthiana Board of Commissioners held a public hearing at 6:30 P.M. July 13, 2004 in the Commissioner’s Room for the purpose of receiving comments concerning resources and listing potential streets for paving. Present were Mayor Wells, Commissioner Martin, and Commissioner Doan. |

Mayor Wells called the public hearing to order, and called on City Clerk Charleen McIlvain. |

City Clerk McIlvain reported the Municipal Road Aid Program has the following resources available: RESOURCES AVAILABLE: Fund Balance carried forward from FYE 6-30-04 $ 95,400 Anticipated receipts from state 92,000 Anticipated interest income 900 Total available for appropriation $188,300 |

Proposed Projects: $185,000 1. Webster Avenue from Old Lair Rd. to Bridge St. 2. Springdale Avenue from Webster Avenue to Elmarch Avenue 3. Cladorbon Drive from Broadway to the wall 4. Broadway between 2nd Street to 3rd Street 5. Tolliver Lane 6. Taylor Drive from Charlotte Drive back around to Grandview Drive 7. Reynolds Avenue from Oddville Avenue to N. Church and continuing on N. Church St. to the vicinity of Leono’s Pizza 8. Pine St. 9. Elmarch Avenue between East Pike Street and E. Pleasant St. Project Balance for next fiscal year $ 3,300 Commissioner Doan advised Public Works inspected the streets and the streets listed are in the most need of repair. Mayor Wells asked for comments from the public. There were no comments, and Mayor Wells adjourned the public hearing.
