Cynthiana is located in the “golden triangle”, 28 miles from Lexington, 90 miles from Louisville, and 60 miles from Cincinnati, and has served for many years as the hub of commerce, education, and government for Harrison County and surrounding communities.

Sirens had been tested monthly on the first Tuesday at 7
pm. These sirens are to alert citizens of

County Public Library is preparing a taste-tempting
cookbook featuring favorite recipes from members of our
community. We would like for you to submit your favorite
recipes so you can be represented in our memorable
collection. Your name will be printed with each of your
recipes. Submissions must be typed, printed (no cursive)
or sent by e-mail to cfranklin@cynthianalibrary.org.
Copies of the submission form can be picked up at the
library. Please follow the instructions on the recipe
submission sheet. Recipes will be accepted from now
until February 15th. The cookbook will be ready
for purchase by May 2010 If you have any questions, feel
