Cynthiana is located in the “golden triangle”, 28 miles from Lexington, 90 miles from Louisville, and 60 miles from Cincinnati, and has served for many years as the hub of commerce, education, and government for Harrison County and surrounding communities.

2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Participants will be permitted to walk, run, skate board, bicycle, rollerblade, etc.. On Sea Biscuit Way only. No motorized vehicles. Dogs only are permitted if on a leash & messes are cleaned as you walk.

Change in Siren Test - City sirens will be tested weekly on Wednesdays at noon, beginning Feb 6.  Sirens had been tested monthly on the first Tuesday at 7 pm.  These sirens are to alert citizens of threatening weather.

Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library is preparing a taste-tempting cookbook featuring favorite recipes from members of our community. We would like for you to submit your favorite recipes so you can be represented in our memorable collection. Your name will be printed with each of your recipes. Submissions must be typed, printed (no cursive) or sent by e-mail to cfranklin@cynthianalibrary.org. Copies of the submission form can be picked up at the library. Please follow the instructions on the recipe submission sheet.
